Spectra-Physics introduces Quasar 532-95, a new high power, high energy green wavelength addition to its Quasar family of hybrid fibre lasers. Quasar 532-95 delivers industry-leading >95 W green average output power, >475 µJ pulse energy, and excellent single-mode beam quality. The new laser’s TimeShift™ programmable pulse capability results in adjustable pulse widths, pulse shapes and repetition rates for laser micromachining process optimization. Quasar 532-95 is ideal for applications in high throughput manufacturing of electronic packages, ceramics, PC boards, semiconductors, photovoltaics, and lithium-ion batteries.

With its TimeShift capability, Quasar 532-95 features tunable pulse widths from <2 to >100 ns, adjustable repetition rates from single shot to 3.5 MHz, as well as burst mode and programmable pulse shapes. Quasar 532-95 outputs a near diffraction-limited single mode beam at 532 nm wavelength.
