A free, two-hour "taster" session which introduces the topics covered in the full, two-day Laser Safety Awareness and Laser Safety Officer training course held by Laservision and Pro-Lite on Wednesday 11th October from 14:00 - 16:00 in the Jaguar Suite at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, CV6
Laser safety experts will discuss and, review how laser radiation interacts with the skin and eyes, share some cautionary tales and offer up ways in which laser users can protect themselves and people around them.
You will learn more about what makes laser radiation different from ordinary light, the hazards associated with laser light, what the various laser classes mean, and about the European laser safety standards.
