Horizon Instruments Ltd is the Authorised Distribution and Service Centre for Leister Lasersystems in the UK and Ireland. Leister Lasersystems are a leading manufacturer in plastics welding. Based in Switzerland, Leister's innovative laser transmission systems open up new production methods in automobile manufacture, medical technology, electronics and microsystems technology. Leister's Novolas WS-AT is an all purpose, all modular turn-key laser system which can be used in combination with multiple laser techniques and optic modules. These modules enable Contour welding, radial welding and Leister's patented Mask and Globo welding concepts, which were granted the Swiss Technology Award. As distributors and machine builders, Horizon Instruments can supply and support both standard workstations and bespoke solutions. We can also design bespoke tooling or clamping fixtures for workstations that meet your specific requirements. Horizon Instruments work closely with Leister in order to help customers decide on the most suitable laser welding process for their product, advise on suitable joining geometries, material selection and then carry out weldability trials at Leister's Applications Laboratory in Switzerland.
