AILU is pleased to announce a new partnership with Innovation Funding Specialists, ABGI-UK Ltd. The Partnership provides AILU Members with a single point of contact for a range of Innovation Funding Schemes, including Research and Development Tax Relief, Patent Box and Innovation Grant Funding.

Dave MacLellan of AILU commented: ‘AILU is committed to giving members access to funding and tax relief and this relationship with ABGI, an experienced Innovation Funding Consultancy, will allow our members to benefit from a reputable adviser in this area. ABGI will assist members to fully identify technological eligibility and remove the ambiguity and risk often associated with claims for reliefs and incentives’’

James Cameron of ABGI commented: ‘’Most members of AILU will already be familiar with the main Innovation Funding schemes, however, the 2022 Finance Bill will introduce reforms to the R&D Tax Relief scheme on a scale not previously seen in the last 21 years. I am keen to speak to members to share how these changes will impact their claims, and the steps necessary to safeguard their Innovation Funding’’.

AILU will receive a financial contribution for each member that signs as a client of ABGI. These funds will be used to further the aims and objectives of the Association over the next two years, including the publications, events and consultancy that make AILU membership unique.
