AILU Workshop: Laser Applications in E-Mobility
July 11 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm BST
£60.00 – £390.00Introduction
Chair: Pasquale Franciosa
WMG, University of Warwick
With the drive towards electrification of transport by road, air and sea this topic is a key focus for laser material processing applications right now. This event will explore the latest advances, trends, and challenges in the rapidly evolving fields of battery manufacturing technology and electric mobility.
Speakers from research, manufacturing and the subcontract industry are included in the schedule together with those in the supply chain for laser welding, cutting, texturing and drying. Optics and beam delivery as well as innovative laser sources are driving advances – often in challenging reflective materials like aluminium alloys and copper.
This event is for:
- Industry professionals who are seeking to adopt laser processing in battery and related industries
- Researchers and academics focused on advanced technology for battery assembly
- Suppliers of products and services to the automotive, aerospace and transportation sector
There are opportunities to network with other delegates, presenters and exhibitors over generous coffee breaks and an extended lunch. After the event there is an option to tour the facilities at WMG where you can see the implementation of laser welding in e-mobility and discover the research areas that are being investigated.
