AILU Workshop: Laser Micro Applications
May 16 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm BST
£60.00 – £390.00Sponsored by PI (Physik Instrumente) Ltd
Introduction
Chair: Jack Gabzdyl (TRUMPF Lasers UK)
Recent advances in ultrafast lasers have seen them become more affordable, reliable and compact. This, combined with alternative (shorter) wavelengths is creating new applications which are able to match the needs of medical devices, consumer electronics and displays. Attend this workshop to learn more about the cutting edge of small scale applications including cutting, etching, drilling, texturing and additive manufacturing. Hosted at TRUMPF’s facility near to Luton Airport, this event will include opportunities for exhibitors, networking and sharing of research between academic and industrial manufacturing.
