Distributed in the UK and Ireland by Photonic Solutions, the eDrive Series from Cutting Edge Optronics are the next generation of diode laser drivers and controllers, offering full laser diode control with management of all critical DPSS functions from within one box.
Three models of eDrive controller are available: the standard eDrive, eDrive Nitro and eDrive Aero. The standard eDrive controller is an excellent tool for performing all critical operations for laser diode arrays in one box. Designed to interface with an external power supply, the standard eDrive is capable of controlling laser system functions such as shutter control, system interlocks and Q-switching. The eDrive can be configured to run diodes in either CW or QCW operating mode.
The eDriveTM Nitro integrates a standard eDrive with optional power supplies, RF drivers and other accessories in a single, compact, rack-mounted housing. Configurable for driving diodes in either CW or QCW operating modes, all aspects of the laser system can be managed with this one unit. The eDrive Nitro is equipped with multiple control options, an easy to use local front panel interface along with a host of digital remote control options, including Labview compatibility, which are offered as standard.
The eDrive™ Aero is designed for driving internal fibre coupled diodes and integrates a standard eDrive. It can be equipped as a complete turnkey system with an internal laser diode, power supply, cooling function, multiple control options and other accessories all in one compact, rack-mountable housing. The Aero can also be offered in an OEM version without the laser diode module for customers that wish to supply their own diode.
