Managing Director of Hutchinson Engineering, Mark Hutchinson said, “Open days are the perfect opportunity to get a feel for the interest in not only Hutchinson Engineering but the industry as a whole in Northern Ireland.
“With the skills gap in the manufacturing industry a hot topic of conversation both locally and nationwide, the fact that over 100 people attended our open day indicates that this gap is closing, and I believe this is only the beginning.”
Hutchinson Engineering has grown from strength to strength over the last number of years, operating to the highest standards of safety and best practice in the manufacturing and engineering industry.
Mark continues, “Throughout the years, we have made it our mission to continually provide local people with the opportunity to get involved in the industry, seeing the turnout of both young people who want to kickstart their careers and experienced men and women interested in joining Hutchinson is a reflection of that.”
With in-house training and development opportunities for their employees, the company continues to drive the manufacturing sector in Northern Ireland, offering a direct solution to a nationwide problem.
Mark concludes, “I was delighted to see so many passionate people come together to visit our open day and chat to our highly skilled team about the potential career opportunities at Hutchinson.
“Judging by the talent who came through the door on Saturday, I feel confident to say that the future of Northern Ireland’s manufacturing industry is in safe hands.”
