Lasermet launches the ICS-Magellan, an advanced all-in-one laser interlock system engineered for complex laser environments.
Building on the proven ICS-9 platform, the ICS-Magellan combines centralised safety monitoring, touchscreen control, and fail-safe hardware interlock architecture in a single integrated system capable of achieving up to Performance Level e (PLe) in accordance with ISO 13849-1.
The ICS-Magellan integrates laser safety status, interlock monitoring, and control functions into a single touchscreen interface, enabling operators to individually monitor and control interlock outputs for greater operational flexibility. Combining software control with dedicated hardware safety architecture, the system delivers a user-friendly interface while maintaining hardware-only fail-safe interlocks for all safety-critical functions.
