CEC introduces new Client Relationship Manager for AILU

Nigel Addison-Evans is responsible for working with associations, organisations and businesses to help them understand how through taking a holistic approach to energy management, Control Energy Costs (CEC) can support them in reducing their carbon footprint and work towards Net Zero.

Nigel’s expertise lies within carbon reduction and net zero strategies as well as providing support on flexible procurement, billing queries, siteworks and metering. He has worked within the energy sector for over eighteen years, for both suppliers and consultants, advising public and private sector clients on carbon reduction and net zero strategies, tender management for fixed and flexible procurement, bill validation and bureau services. His expertise also extends to regulatory guidance, monitoring and controls to IoT standards, Software as a Service (SaaS), and a diverse range of renewable energy solutions.

Nigel says, “As the first point of contact for associations and organisations, I’m responsible for providing support, updates and guidance to help individuals and member organisations understand how they can go about managing their energy more effectively through the sometimes complex journey that the energy sector presents. I’m passionate about my role, as everything I do to support clients with their energy management also helps to reduce their carbon footprint, which in turn reduces our impact on the environment and helps the UK work towards its net zero ambitions. I believe that there’s only one constant in the energy industry, and that’s ‘change’ – as soon as you think you understand a piece of legislation in the energy industry, it changes!”
