Mate Tooling Solutions in Northampton has launched a biodegradable, 100% recyclable slat coating to reduce the frequency with which laser cutters need to change their slats.
Developed by the 3Yo Technology company in Trento, Italy, the 3YO GUN diffuses 3YO TS liquid, creating a powerful and long-lasting barrier over large surfaces, resistant to heat, sparks and oxidation. 3Yo Technology supplies products to replace older, carcinogenic or non-recycling products in the welding and cutting market. The natural products are long-lasting, preforming multipurpose uses that are great for the environment.
Applied to new slats, a 3000 x 1500 mm bed working on a 2 shift pattern would typically need 320 ml per bed every 2 weeks. The application gun provides the right amount of spray needed to cover the bed.
