Midtherm’s laser cut friezes installed over the River Stour

Midtherm Laser is delighted to see its laser cut panels in place over the River Stour.

The decorative panels were designed by borough artist Steve Field and funded via the council’s Community Infrastructure Levy and a grant obtained with the support of two local community groups. The panels were cut on a 12 kW laser from 4 mm 5083 aluminum and feature the Stourbridge crest, Charles II fleeing on his horse and hiding in the oak tree at Boscobel House.
