Laser Expertise Ltd has recently started to work with a local sculptor who has been commissioned by several local organisations and authorities to provide various items that will be seen in the public domain.
Many of these items have been designed in collaboration with local schools or community organisations and have been created in welcome, celebration or remembrance. We have generally provided simple, flat laser cut, metal shapes which have then been styled and formed artistically to create the finished articles. We have also performed some rather complicated rolling to give shape to some leaves. We are very much looking forward to seeing the finished article which incorporates them. Although we are often much more involved in creating finished units there is a certain satisfaction in seeing items being enjoyed aesthetically rather than just as functional items hidden out of view.
